Fonda's Mexican food is terrific. A double order of the guacamole with chips is probably enough for two, but other delights await further down the menu. Definitely try the flautas, which are similar to taquitos. The difference is that flauta uses flour tortillas and taquitos use corn tortillas. When it comes to tortillas, Fonda is the champion (at least in Brooklyn).

We order from Fonda when we have last minute guests coming and can't deal with (or don't have the time to) cook. There is always a moment when one of the guests pauses and says, "Wow, this is really good!" And the food truly is consistently excellent. Fun to share with a big group. Worth the price.

Food was great - they keep everything separated where possible for pickup orders which is nice to avoid soggy tortillas, but it's not quite as satisfying to have to assemble your own meal. That's my only nitpick.

Love Fonda! The worst thing I can say is it's usually too busy, so I order takeout. One of the best restaurants in the neighborhood, sit at the bar for happy hour all night on Mondays if you can find a spot!

The food is amazing here: the guacamole is A+, and everything we have ever ordered has always come very tasty and HOT! I am so happy to have a place like this in the neighborhood that delivers!
